Kaunu Cottage

Our home is devoted to the Hawaiian lifestyle and culture.  Please browse some of our many books on Hawaiiana or learn to play the ukulele, we have a genuine quality instrument and songbook. There is a large flat screen TV and a DVD library, however no cable/satellite.  Bring your cell phone.  We do have high speed wireless internet throughout the cottage at no charge. 

We provide 400 thread count pima cotton sheets and fluffy thick towels as well as hypo allergenic duvets for cool nights.  Method pure cleaning products are used throughout the house as well as for the laundry for the sensitive guest. Please note that there is no smoking anywhere on the property,at any time.   If you smoke, it would be preferable that you not book with us, mahalo.

Come easy - your own parking area and private lanai with no neighbors - just the ocean view.

Rates - $165 per night  /  $1050 a week

            Plus 11% tax and $100 cleaning fee

Who We Are

We have a young orange farm overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean.  On the property we also make by hand our luxury bodycare line - The Hawaiian Spa.

Leala has just graduated from the University of Oregon and runs our website as well as full time working, and is our model for our beauty care line.  She is an HPA Alumni.

Alice runs the farm and business and is also a photographer documenting rare sights and people of the islands, her work is shown in galleries under the title Vanishing Hawaii.
